CODE OF CONDUCT

Royal Football League Coaches and owners play a vital role in development, encouraging, social and physical well being to all our athletes. Therefore, it is essential for Royal Football League Athletes to embrace the values of good sportsmanship, discipline, character and coachable.

- All athletes must register for each event on the RFL Website under the Event Registration Form. Events can be registered the day off.

- All Players must register each season on the RFL Website under Football Season- Player forms ($20 Registration fee) to be eligible to play in the RFL Games. Failure to comply will result in Game Forfeit and/or Fine.

- Players must play in 4 games to be eligible for Playoffs.

- Athletes/ Players will show good sportsmanship ( win or lose), be honest and fair to all coaches, owners, athletes, officials and fans.

- Athletes/ Players will learn and practice good values. Be committed to yourself and/or your team for a entire season, whether on or off the field.

- Athletes/Players will abide by doctors decision in all matter’s of players health and injuries, and physical ability to perform.

- Athletes/Players will show courtesy and respect to coaches, owners, fans, teammates, officials and opponents.

- Athletes/Players will realize that all contests are educational experiences and opportunities.

- Athletes/Players will not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct.

- Athletes/Players will not engage in rude behavior’s.

- Athletes/Players will treat everyone, including coaches, owners, parents, players, fans and officials, with respect regardless of Race, Creed, Color, Nationality or Sex.

- Athletes/Players shall not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. In general, there shall be No use of drugs, tobacco, or alcohol products at any event, game, practice field or in public as a representative of RFL or team player.

ATHLETE / TEAM EXPECTATION

1) ATTITUDE AND CHARACTER - We are more interested

in "Who you are" than how talented you are.

2) VISION - We are interested in individuals who want to be

great husbands, fathers, friends and workers and successful in

sport.

3) ADDITIONALLY, WE WANT INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS

ALIGNED WITH THE ROYAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE WHO:

a. Want to go to events, practices, games.

b. Want the challenge of building and maintaining a

football lifestyle and program

c. Want a community built upon RELATIONSHIPS:

a) Player to player

b) Coach to player

c) Player to coach

d) Player to community

e) Coach to community

4) Remember that we always represent our families, our teams, our

schools, and most importantly ourselves when participating in

any activity.

5) We want athletes that are superior. It will be our goal to

obtain you and/or team throughout the year. Be responsible.

6) Focus on positive relationships with your teammates. It will

be an extremely long season and/or event and adversity is not

something we need to deal with when times are tough.

Any personal problems need to be squashed prior to the event and

or season beginning and ending.

7) Be on time for all games and/ or events.

8) Football is a sport to consider very seriously. Not preparing

yourself with adequate sleep and nutrition could hinder your

physical body.

9) Be a leader. All the time! Even when others are completely

wrong, be mature about any and all situations and handle it

accordingly.

10) Take care of yourself and teammates on and off the field.

Encourage each other all the time and never be a “Crab!”

11) Keep your priorities in line.

12) Respect the game of football.
